Im going as fast as i can!!!!!

Well here are three of the cards i am making for my very eager daughter.I dont want to bore you so ive only put three of them on.(Still loads to do!!)
I have used the same paper pack on all of them and are NEW from Woodware. This pack is called Carnival Ride.
Iam still learning with the copics as personally i like to paint with stains or Distress inks,so i only dare use the light tones at the moment.I dont think i could attemp darker colour hair yet and certainly not dark skin tone!(think i will stick to using a brush).

Thanks for looking and take care

Its Sepia Time!!

This week on the Tuesday Taggers is sepia and is sponsered by The Stampman. So I decided to use their NEW beautiful Music stamps by Aspects of design. They are just so stunning and are perfect for this challenge.
I actually ended up making two cards for this challenge, as at the moment my daughter Sophie who is 10 ,absolutely adores the Miss Anya stamps.I had to quickly photograph it before it went walkabout!
I stamped onto card which had first been coloured with moonshadow inks and embossed the stamped image with Moonglow embossing powder 'Midnight gold obsidian'. I then painted with distress inks brushed corderoy.I also added this around the edge to give it a more sepia look. The backing papers are all made with moonshadow inks.

Then added embellishments and organza ribbon.
All the same was used for this card.Although i painted the image with the distress inks shabby shutters, brushed corderoy and fired brick. The flowers I made myself.
Also for extra dimension i used glossy accents on her hair.
I must say I can certainly see why she likes her.Ive another 10 to make for all her friends birthdays. So if i disappear for a while thats what I will be doing.Kids they certainly keep you busy.!!!!

Bye for now xx

Tuesday Taggers:Die cuts and Punches.

Jane Gill a designer for the Woodware clear stamps took this class and is perfect for this weeks Tuesday Taggers as the trees are all made using a punch.
Im going to have a go using this idea but change it a little using a retro heart punch, which i think will look great too!!

The papers used are NEW out and are absolutely beautiful. They are double sided pattern paper packs from Woodware. There is i think about 8 different packs, but all are really lovely.Definately a MUST on my wish list!!
The punch used is FPC3-10 A small lilium feather punch
and the sentiment was from Woodware Clear set JGCL515.
Right must dash
Thankyou for visiting.I really appreciate it

Dreamweaver Class

Hi Again,
This was the card we did in the dreamweaver class.I really enjoyed this one as ive only ever had a go once before with embossing paste.I loved this swirl stencil AND we got to keep it too!!So guess what i bought today??? A palette knife. So watch this space, more will be appearing soon!!

We used blue embossing paste for this card then sprinkled with glitter. For the Dove we used pigment ink then put over the swirl stencil and used blue pigment ink.So effective.Actually at first glance I thought the dove was velum.

The stencils used were:

Swirl LJ896 Wording LG 696
Dove LL594

Thanks again

My first EVER Canvas!!

Well yesterday was one of those days where my 'get up and go had got up and gone!!' if you know what i mean!!My hubby was in a fly-fishing competition with Yorkshire Water at Fewston(which he won out of about 70 men!)So he was well pleased and happy last night, and my kids were with their friends. So what did i do???locked myself away in my craft room.I didnt have a clue what i was doing or going to do,i think i spent the first half hour just looking around!!(Such a saddo-Debbie i think you need to get a life!!!)lol
I wished i'd of took a picture of the room at the end as I had EVERYTHING out.Cuttlebug, melting pot, cricut!!!you name it it was out!!I just didnt have a clue!!
Anyway this is what the end result was!!
The canvas i think had been every colour possible,as i kept changing my mind.It HAD to end up red or it would of been black!!lol
Luckily for me ive loads of hearts. As you've probably guessed already with my blog i Lurve hearts, so this tied in nicely with the red.

For the butterfly I cut out two butterflies with the cuttlebug using grunge paper and dipped the top one into the melting pot.I didnt have a clue how this was going to turn out!!But it worked. The beads on the top are the spills of the melting pot!!Waste not want not!

The flower is of course 'GrungePaper' So many uses i love love it!!(as you gathered!!ha)

Again for the hearts I used the melting pot.The stamp used was a Hero stamp 'Heart Flourish'
Hope you like it.I think it turned out ok in the end.It very nearly got thrown out of the window at one point!!
Thanks for looking
