A Shadow Box using Serenity Moondust

Hello There
I'm here today to share a Mixed Media Shadow Box using the gorgeous stamp Serenity Moondust.
I wanted to do a monochrome project with this image and a Shadow Box seemed the perfect way to showcase her.

If you have never made a Shadow Box they are soooo easy. Here's a past tutorial I did HERE

I used only four Zig Pens for this project Light Gray, Dark Gray, Gray and Black. One of them seemed to hold a lot of violet which I loved and matched perfectly with the Opal Magic Alchemy wax.

I made the Moon and Stars using a mould by Finnabair and air dry clay. Once dried I covered with Gesso and painted with Alchemy paints.
I used Frantage Fragments and Artstones to decorate and cheesecloth and to finish rubbed over with Opal Magic.

Papers used to decorate the box were Polkadoodles

To finish I added glass gemstones and Mica flakes

I hope you like it.
Thankyou so much for stopping by today
Love and hugs

In The Garden

 Well Hellooo

Oh gosh it seems so long since I've been in here and Blogger has all changed!!!
I hope you are all keeping safe and well during these weird times, but lets not go there hey!

My creativity has finally surfaced. I was getting worried for a little while.
I made this for the Polkadoodles BLOG

As always when in need for inspiration I go look through Nikky's images and I came across Octavia. How have I never seen this image before? (I found a couple more too that fell in my basket😂)
Wow I thought! Id love to have a go at colouring her. She certainly sums up my Summer and where Ive been hiding.... In my garden

I've coloured her with Distress Re-Inkers and Zig Water Colour pens. I just love the vintage look Distress Re-Inkers give.

The flowers I created using Polkadoodles Flower Flourish Set
I spritzed with water and scrunched up and teased out the petals once dry and added a stamen.

To finish I always add a little white paint

Behind the image I added Polkadoodles Heart Flourish Die and papers used were the beautiful
Blushing Blooms Craft Papers

Other dies used were Posydoodles Circles

I really hope you like it and have brought you a tiny little bit of inspiration.

Thankyou so much for stopping by and stay safe and keep well.
Big BIG virtual Hugs

♥ The Month Of Lurve ♥

Helloooooo
I'm here today and with it being the month of romance Ive made a Heart/Love inspired card using the gorgeous Winnie.

Ive water coloured Winnie-Wishes from the Fruit Punch Collection with both Distress Re-Inkers and Zig Clean Colour Pens and they blend beautifully together.

Papers used are from two collections
Timeless Rose
and
Adalene
The circle die to cut out Winnie was Polkadoodles Stitched and Pierced Nested Circles and once again I made the gorgeous rolled Roses using the Delicate Daisy Cluster. Im so addicted to making these. Ive made these more shabbier to give a more romantic Shabby Chic look.

To finish I added my own little touch using Artstones, Cheesecloth and Texture Paste.
Thankyou so much for stopping by today.
See You Soon

Holly Butterfly and Zig Water Colour Pens

Hey There Polkadoodle fans.
How has your weekend been so far?
I’m here today with another of the new release Holly stamps.
 Ive used Holly Butterfly .
Ive tried something new this week and purchased the Zig Clean Colour Water Colour pens. I think you know I always and only use Distress Re-Inkers, so I thought I would give these ago.

This is the result. I think I like them, but they are so much more intense than the Distress Inks. I always get carried away blending different colours and these are perfect for this.
Here are the colours I used
Skin-064, 066, 026 and 071
Hair- 071, 072 and 065
Dress- 083, 091 and 095
Butterflies 025 and 036

Ive used a couple of the Polkadoodles paper packs. The butterflies on the card Ive cut out from this sheet from the Posy Doodles Collection and Bella Fleur for the background and Butterfly.

The dies I used to cut out Holly are the Posy Doodles Rectangle Dies
The gorgeous Butterfly is the largest Butterfly from the trio Die set Butterfly Trio decorated with a rolled rose.

The rest of the dies are from my stash.
I then finish off with a little Gesso.

Hope you like it :D

A Touch Of Spring

Hello There Crafty Friends!
Today and Ive brought you a touch of Spring! Ive definitely noticed the evenings slowly becoming lighter this week!!...Have You?
I really love to make Spring cards and the new Holly downloads are just perfect for this.
For my card Ive watercolored Holly Spring/Easter Bunny using Distress Re-Inkers on Bockingford Watercolour paper.

Below Ive cut out the Delicate Daisy Die in two colours of designer paper to give them a Spring feel.

I used mostly the Adalene Paper pack and the yellow I pinched from In Love With Autumn

I always like to add layers to my cards. For the base I used a flower Die by Go Kreate. The oval die is by Polkadoodles Posydoodles-Ovals
Once finished I like to add a little white gesso for a shabby chic look.

I hope Ive helped to give you a little Spring inspiration today.
