Good Morning Crafty Friends!

 I'm here today to share my latest card using one of the new release Digi Winnie's. Ive used Faraway Winnie. I know I said in my last post about being a stamping girl ...BUT ....I just couldn't wait for her to become available as a stamp. She's just gorgeous.

Do you struggle with Digi's? 

 I do, because I use watercolour paper and it is too thick to go through my printer, but below is a little step by step on how I master it.

Once you have downloaded your image to your laptop/Ipad, open up in the program you use. I have a MacBook so I use 'Pages' to do this. Resize to the size you are happy with and click on print. This then should bring up the printing box and show you the size it will be printed onto the A4 paper. My printer is a HP Officejet Pro 6830. Also outlined in pink is the Opacity. If like me you don't like your images to be jet black, you can alter the percentage to a greyer shade.

Once you are happy with the settings click print on normal A4 paper. It may take a few attempts until you are happy with the size and depth of the image.

I then cut out a piece of my Water Colour paper and tape over the pre-printed image.

For colouring I use Bockingford Hotpressed extra smooth.

Once taped over the image, put back into the printer tray and click print. NOTE..Remember to put in correct way so the image prints in the exact same spot as the previous and onto the Water Colour Paper.

Yes! Voila.... This is how it should look and you are all ready to paint :D

and so it begins.

I colour with Distress Inks and occasionally Distress Pens

Papers used are Beau Paperie Belle. Flowers I handmade and dies are from my stash.

Ula- Be A Unicorn

Hiya Everyone 

I hope you have all had an amazing Easter. Wow what fabulous weather we have had in the UK too.

I have a little news to share today. I'm now part of the Polkadoodles Blog Team. You can find the blog HERE

I'm not a digital person at all and prefer to use stamps in my crafting because I use Distress Inks to colour my work...I just can't seem to get the printing of a download right onto my paper, it's a good job we all like different things!  So when I spied that this lovely image was available as a Clear Stamp I had to snap her up fast.  You can get this great stamp from all great Polkadoodles stockists

For my card I used the gorgeous Ula Be A Unicorn coloured with Distress Re-Inkers. I do love these gorgeous images of Ula.

Papers are Bella Flour

I made the flowers with Foamarian and painted with Alchemy paints to give a more shimmering effect

Dies are a mixture from my stash including DooHickeys and Lady E and I can't help using a little pink Frantage around the edges.

♥A Gift For A Lady♥

Hi There

Its a new Friday Challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge blog today. As always its Anything Goes but also a 'A Gift For A Lady' for those who want a little more of a challenge.:D

Ive coloured Ruby Birthday Cake with Distress ReInkers. The link takes you too the digi version but I actually used the stamp version of her.

I did the no lines technique...Why?.... I always ask myself, because I always end up adding black!!LOL

I used Butterfly Dreams Paper pad. So gorgeous and bright.

Flowers I made using DooHickeys

All the rest are also DooHickeys except the tag which is Gummpian.

The stitched oval is LDRS

I'm hoping my dearest crafty friend has received it now♥

OOOooo it's Friday Yayyyy which means a start of a new challenge over at 

Polkadoodles Friday Challenge

This week the theme is flowers but as always you can do anything goes :D

Ive coloured Winnie-Just For You  with Distress Reinkers and pens.

For the large Daffodils I used a Sizzix die and the smaller one with a DooHickey

Papers are the Great Outdoors paper pack also by Polkadoodles.

For the flower shape I used Go Kreate Flower, the rest are DooHickeys.

Also on the edge I sprinkled with Ivory Frantage and lots of gesso :D

A Card For A Sweet Friend

Hey All :D

Wow it seems such a long time since I made or posted anything!

Its so nice to finally have time to do something and have a little play.

I have used an older Tilda for my card. Ive so many Ive only ever coloured once and this one is so sweet. 

Ive coloured with Distress Re-Inkers

For the flowers I used DooHickey Dies and the Ivy leaves are by Sizzix.
