Something In The Air......

 Hiya

Just a quickie today to show something Ive been making here and there over the last few days.

I just didn't have a clue where it was going!...but I got there in the end.

I don't know if its the thunderstorms weve been having or what, but I really have had to drag myself into my craftroom..

 

 Anyway back to my card..Ive used Sakura Tilda from Special Moments 2013 painted with Distress Re-Inkers

My new Magnolia paper arrived also at the weekend and its double sided :D.... So very gorgeous.

Ive used Blue Vintage Hydrangea from The Sea Breeze Collection all available at Sir Stampalot

Dies used are Doohickeys Butterfly, Tilda's Tag and Box Coffee Lace and Joy Crafts Butterfly Border and Oval.

Fancy Corners I made using Airdry Clay from a home made mold

MDUC And The Ribbon Girls Challenge

Good Morning

I hope you are all good and enjoying your weekend so far :D

Today to share is a card for two DT Challenges.

Firstly we have MDUC which is Camilla H's Choice-Your favourite things and then we have the Ribbon Girls Challenge which is Lace

My favourite things are Distress Reinkers, Tildas and Dies so it was an easy one for me:D

I LOVE the new DooHickey Orchid Die

Here Ive also used new DooHickey Fruit Tree along with the fence.

Ive used gorgeous Tripping Tilda from the Special Moments Collection painted with Distress Reinkers

From the fabulous Ribbon Girl Shop Ive used Lilac Berries, Lilac Velvet Lace, Cheesecloth, Tulle and Angelica Tulle Lace

Lili Of The Valley New Christmas Release Blog Hop.......

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Today we are holding a Lili of the Valley design team blog hop to celebrate the launch of their gorgeous new Christmas stamps

This is the first set in their 2013 Christmas collection and is an adorable mix of 16 cute characters which we think you are going to LOVE!

Sneaky Peak - Christmas at LOTV

 Hi There

Today to share is a little sneaky peak from the new Christmas Collection from LOTV 

Ive used Christmas Prayer and I just LOVE her.

These will be available from the 25th July  and I can tell you your just going to adore them all.

Keep a look out at the rest of the girls blogs this week as there will be more sneaky peaks.

 

 I have painted her in Sepia (Walnut Stain Distress Reinker) and added a little crackle glaze to  give a little dimension.

I think this picture has picked the effect up quite well.

 How ironic making a Christmas card when its so hot outside! hee hee, but its always great to get my Christmas dies out :D

 

Dies used are Sizzix Snowflakes

Magnolia DooHickeyTags, Coffee Box Lace and Fern.

 

I don't have any LOTV Christmas Sentiments yet( I feel a visit coming on ;D) so I used the 'WISH' from the Sentiment Tags set and the Music is from the Background Bits - Notes set

A Very Special Delivery

Hiya

Hope you are all ok :D

We have a very special challenge this week over at MDUC for our very own ♥Camilla♥. 

Camilla doesnt know about this so it will be a lovely surprise for her too..:D

 

Camilla's baby boy is due any day now just like our own Princess Kate, so we are all quite excited for another MDUC baby :D

 

I think I only have one baby boy Magnolia stamp and wanted to come up with something different..

So as soon as I saw this new Edwin from the Sea Breeze Collection I knew he would fit perfectly in the bath.

I painted him with Distress Reinkers

Papers are Pion

Dies are Doo-Hickey flags and Tildas tag

Also from the Ribbon Girls  I used 100mm Camilla Ivory Flat Lace, Vintage Blue Fluted Edge Sheer Ribbon, Cheesecloth and Astrid Cream Tulip Lace

Aimi With Lantern

 

Yayyyy Happy Friday

 Ive a day off today and Im hoping the sun will make an appearance.

We've had  a gorgeous Summer so far.

 

 For my card today Ive used a beautiful Geisha Girl 'Aimi With Lantern' and the Postcard stamp from the Background Bits-Notes all from LOTV

 

Ive painted her with Distress Reinkers.

 

 



 I also used my new Magnolia DooHickey Dies Orchids which match the Oriental theme perfectly.

Add a Bow at the Ribbon Girls

 Hi There

I hope you are all enjoying the heat wave we are having in the UK this weekend.

Im hoping to get out in the garden today :D

There's a new challenge over at the Ribbon Girls today and this week we want to see a BOW

 For my card Ive used one of the new Tilda's from my clubkit (Sorry I don't know her name yet). I masked her with Sea Background Through Porthole from the 2010 Von Boyage Collection

 Oh and the map which was also part of the clubkit.

I painted with DI Reinkers

Papers are also Magnolia from the Bon Voyage Collection

From the Ribbon Girl Shop I used

Seam Binding, Ivory Resin Dove Flat back, Cheesecloth, Red Velvet Lace, Starburst Stamen Burgandy, Beaded Berries and Rolled paper Roses Ruby Red

Dies used are Sizzix On the edge and Doo-Hickey Tilda's Tag and Flags
