Spring is in the air at Deep Ocean

Hello

A new challenge at Deep Ocean has just begun and this fortnights challenge is Spring. It certainly feels like Spring is on its way here the UK now.:D

For my card Ive used Whimsy Wee Stamp-Silver Fairy. I bought a few of these last year and I had forgotton all about them, until I tidied my room up the other day. I do love this one.

Ive painted her with Distress Inks Weather Wood,Walnut Ink and Black Soot and Rock Candy on her wings.

The Butterfly is one I got sent from Tracy and I think is a Marianne Die which I have painted white and decorated with Idea-ology pen nib.Other Die is Magnolia Doo-hickey Rose Petals.

and LOTS of white paint.

Colour Combo at MDUC

Helloooo :D

Hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend.

Another Challenge has just begun ove at MDUC and for this weeks challenge we want you to use the colours Orange,Pink and White on your card.

I thought for a change I would use Cowboy Tilda from one of my favourite Collections- Bon Voyage.

I havent used Cowboy Tilda since I made the travel Photo Album and Travel Suitcase for Magnolia Ink Summer 2011

I loved painting this Photo Book and have been meaning to recreate each picture into a card for sometime now. So here's the first one. Hopefully when I find the time I will recreate each one xx

The Wanted picture I made in photoshop and inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

Papers are all Magnolia and I used Doo-Hickey Peony Die and Distress Kraft Core Card.

Painted with Distress Inks.

TOMIC Challenge 38-Friends & Doo Hickeys

Good Morning  :)

There's a new challenge beginning at TOMIC today and the theme is Friendship and Doo-Hickeys. I dont think I ever make a card these days without a Doo-Hickey

Doo-Hickeys I have used are Heart Tag and Fence.

Magnolia Stamps are Tilda with Daisy, Tilda Heart Flowers and Gift From The Heart.

All painted with Distress Inks on 300 gsm Watercolour Paper.

Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts

Paper Maja design.

Its sketch time tonight over at MDUC and I have used Baby Edwin from the New Collection 'Prince and Princesses. Isnt he a cutie.

Painted with Distress Inks

and you know me I always have to sneak a little Ideaology in there!! Yeah the nappy pin!

and a tag which is made using Maganolia Doo Hickey 'So Wrapped Swirl.'

I stamped with Baby feet using a Heroarts stamp.

Other Doo Hickeys used were Star Tag and flag

Its Pink and Brown at Deep Ocean

A new challenge has just begun over at DOC and is Pink and Brown!

I love this combination of colours together .

 

Ive used one of the new Tilda's from the New Collection 'Prince and Princesses'.

Im not sure of her name but Im sure she will be called 'Stamping Tilda'. The table is also Magnolia from an older collection.

Dies used are Doo-Hickey from Magnolia

Challenge 133- One Word Sentiments at MDUC

Hiya

There's another challenge over at MDUC beginning and this week it's 'One Word Sentiments'. For my DT project I decorated something my daughter Sophie bought me for Christmas with three gorgeous Magnolia stamps from The Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012. I have just loved this collection :)

I thought Id also share this picture I took at the beginning of the week(with my phone so not great). I had a couple of lovely days away with my hubby in the beautiful lakes. The weather was just glorious, we were sooo lucky. This was taken on one of the Lake Cruisers on the way back to Bowness from Ambleside.  It was just so beautiful.xx

MDUC Challenge-Colours Of Our National Flag

Hiya All

There's another challenge over at MDUC and we want you to use the colours of your National Flag!

For a change Ive coloured on KRAFT with Distress Inks. Wasnt sure how it would turn out, but kept at it!! Im sure I used a lot more ink than usual.

Ive used 'Tilda Loves Flowers' from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection. I'm nearly there now. I think ive a couple more to ink up and will need moreeeee!!! HEE HEE

It was quite hard to get a good picture today and especially with the Kraft it was darker than normal. Instead of darkening the background like I usually do, I used a white Prismacolour pencil and highlighted it for a change!

I even had some Union Jack Ribbon in my stash which I had forgotton about. I knew it would come in one day. Sentiment is Whimsy postage stamps.

Cuddles

Morning!!!

Yay!! its Friday  and what have I been doing this morning???Yeah you guessed it...finishing this card!!

I started painting the image last night. I was asked in an email how long it takes to make a card. Well its actually painting the image that takes the time. It can take 2-3 hours just to watercolour. This one took a little longer as there's two of them! So all in all I daren't  time myself! But anythings better than just sat watching TV!

The Magnolia is another New one from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection called 'Cuddly Siblings' Awh it just reminds me of my two (though they dont cuddle now they are 15 and 12!!!They wont even sit near each other!!)eyes roll...

The paper is the NEW one from Pion Design called 'From The Heart ll' and arrived at mine on Wednesday. I must say I feel so guilty cutting into it,it's so gorgeous. Tracy kindly kept me up to date with the where abouts of her delivery!!(Hee hee thats another story!!!) but thankyou Tracy xx

Lets get Sparkly at DOC

Hiya

Another Challenge has begun at DOC and we want you to SPARKLE.

Ive used Tilda with wrapped Heart from the New Sweet Love Collection and painted with Distress Inks. Papers are also Magnolia-Mini Cloudy Blue.

Once again Ive used the my new Tim Holtz On The Edge Butterfly Die.

Ive stained my white rosette ribbon with stormy Sky Distress Stain and used lots of Diamond stickles which is difficult to see.
