Summer Loving...had me a blast!!!

Good Morning :D

I think we are having a mini heatwave in the UK at the moment. The weather is glorious!!  I'd better not say too much about it or I may jinx it!!

Anyway back to my card.Any guesses what it reminds you of and there's a clue in the title.

One of my all time favourite films is Grease! I still know it word for word. My card in particular reminds me of the ending when the car flies off into the sky!!!LOL....But its actually Grease 2 where they where Hula skirts at the end!

Ive used Flip Flop Tilda and Edwins Old Mobile from Summer Memories 2012 painted with Distress Inks and Pens..

Papers are Magnolia also from the new collection 'Forget Me Not Wallpaper'

Magnolia Down Under Challenge

Ive used Tilda catching Stars from the Prince and Princess Collection 2012 and painted with DI'S.

The embellishment ive made is using a Pleated Ribbon and Lace from The Ribbon Girl and used a large brad from my stash.

Summer isnt far away!!!(I hope!!)

I know this card has a real summer feeling to it. Well it's this one or a Tilda under her umbrella..ah.ah.ah.ah!!!LOL,,and Im sure your all fed up of the rain!!

I'm loving the new Magnolia's and their flowing locks!

My first thought with 'Flip Flop Tilda' was to give her a beach theme(which i will do another day)... but as usual I got side tracked with my paint,dies etc....which meant  that idea went out of the window for now!!!

Under the Sea

Hiyaaaaaaaa!!!!

Yes Im still here!!!....Its been such a long time time since I blogged!!! Well it seems it to me!! I dont know where time has gone, but I think life has just got in the way!!!

I started cleaning my craftroom over a week ago and somehow I got lost in the process and it's still on going!!!

Anyway enough of boring you, back to tonights challenge. A new one has just begun over at MDUC and this week we want to see more than one fold. Ive done a stepper card.

Ive used two of the GORGEOUS new Magnolia stamps Pearl Tilda and Largo the Dolphin, Oh and the shells! Which I painted with Distress Inks.

I loved the old Magnolia Mermaid but Pearl is simply gorgeous and how could I not buy Largo the dolphin with my name!!!LOL

I dont think I ever make a card these days without these, so its an easy challenge for you:)

I used the Magnolia image I used for the transfer on my last post.( I didnt want to waste her) Ive since found out she is called 'Waterlily Tilda' ! gorgeous!! Ive given her a sepia look by watercolouring her in Walnut Ink.

Anything but a card at MDUC

Helloooooo

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. The girlies are back at MDUC with another new challenge. There's also a Magnolia stamp up for grabs, kindly donated by the gorgeous Karen.

This week we want 'Anything BUT a card'. So get your thinking caps on!!

I really didnt think I was going to make this weeks challenge. I got off to a bad start this week with being poorly/sick, but thankfully ok now and made it in the end. :)

So back to my project. I racked my brains trying to think of something different! In the end I remembered I had some of Claudines Hellmuth Sticky Back Canvas which I had never touched and remembered a technique where you could transfer images! So I tried it with a Magnolia image I painted and this was the result.

The image at the back was the original handpainted Tilda.

I also altered a tote bag with a larger image.

I used Paddling Tilda ( dont know her name yet)! but she is from the next new release and was from the latest members clubkit. I gave her a sepia look and coloured her with Walnut Ink. When transfered it turned out a little more pink!

Well Im back again with another new card. I cant leave these new stamps alone and Im supposed to be on with Magnolia Ink projects!!!:/

My excuse is the school hols! So once the kids go back next week i can get back to normal and crack on with it!!

Ive used Tilda with Anchor (dont know her real name yet) but she goes perfectly with the Bon Voyage collection:).Here Ive used the 'Sea Background With Porthole' from the 2010 Collection and 'See you Later Seal'.

 Ive just seen my pal Jane has named her 'Anchors Away Tilda'!! and I'll go with that, it's perfect!!

Also in the bottom corner Ive used an old Aspects of Design Stamp 'Ship Script, which Ive torn to fit my card. This is available at The Stampman.

Ive used Wild Tilda and Wild Text both from magnolia and coloured with Distress Inks. I actually used the New Distress Marker Pens a little more with this one.

Sketch Time at MDUC!!

Hi There

There's another challenge just begun over at MDUC and this week its a fabulous sketch:)

My new Magnolia club kit arrived this week :D, so like everyone else I was itching to have a play. Such gorgeous images again, it makes it so hard to choose which to ink up first. I dont know their names yet ,but I have used Tilda as a Bee and Large Flower background.

Also in my kit were a couple of new Doo-Hickeys 'Thought Bubble' and 'Heart Flower Lace'. You can just see the heart flower peaking through.

I painted with Distress Inks.

For the corners I also used the Heart Flower Lace.

Papers are Bildmalarna 6x6

Morning!!

Well what can I say, but I dont get the UK weather at all!!! Last week it was in the 20's and cracking the flags and today its snowing!!!! Can you believe it!!

Today to share is a card Ive been making over the last few days, or at least grabbing moments here and there!!(Its the school Hols) It sure has taken a while to paint has this one.

Ive used Tilda's Princess Horse and Tilda Princess of the Valley from the new Prince and Princess Collection 2012 painted with DI's. I was going to do the horse white at first, but as usual I made it hard for myself!!

My own horse was a dapple grey!But that was way too hard to do!LOL

Papers are Bildmalarna.

The decorative corners are Whimsy.
