Magnolia Down Under Challenge 99

Hiya

There's a colour challenge this week over at MDUC . You have to create with the colours Peach, Purple and Cream. It's also being sponsered by ShopBron, so there's a fab prize up for grabs.

Ive made a pocket card!!Or that's what Ive called it!ha

Papers are Pion Design. Ive used Nestabilities Circles and Lacey Circles. Magnolia Doo-Hickey Dragonflies.

Stamps are Magnolia- Gate and Tilda with Strawhat.

A Gift From The Heart

Hiya

Today Ive a card I made for the Magnolia shop a while back. It's unusual for me to have the background as plain as this as I normally paint my backgrounds. This time I wanted the couch to look this way and all the colour to be on Tilda. Ive painted her with Distress Re-inkers on 300GSM Watercolour Paper. Flowers I have rolled myself. Tilda is Ribbon Tilda from the So Sweet Collection. The posh couch is also from this collection. The border is with a Doo- Hickey Border.

Under the Weather!!

Hiya

Its another Challenge at MDUC this week and it s a Sketch by Kylie. Dont ya just love a sketch.

Yes the title says it all. Rainy old England.!! It's actually more like April Showers at the moment.Where has the sunny weather gone??? I always did wonder why there wasnt a Tilda for the UK in the Bon Voyage Collection,but I think the one with the brollies are probably them!!!LOL This is 'Tilda in the Summer Rain!' from the new Rainbow Collection.

Ive painted her with Distress Inks 'Weathered Wood'. Ive used Tims Clock Die in the background and distressed with walnut stain. Papers are all Magnolia. The Nesties Ive used are Labels 18.

Guest DT at Basic Grey

Morning

I was kindly asked the other week to be GDT for Basic Grey Challenge Blog this month. Thankyou girlies ,I'm honoured to be. Well of course it meant buying another pack of Basic Grey papers!!!hee hee

The Challenge is Shabby Chic in Hot pink and Green. Well I LOVE shabby (even though my hubby said he didnt like my card!!!:(!! )  he just doesnt understand 'SHABBY'!!! LOL

My papers are of course Basic Grey ' Sweet Threads'. I painted Tilda on KRAFT!!! Yes and it worked. I didnt think it would as I havent seen Distress Inks on Kraft before and I thought it would of been a disaster!! I then slapped on Rock candy and Glossy Accents and got a little carried away.!! Ive also used a little cheese cloth on there, which is great for the shabby look.

Have a fab weekend and I'll be back again later today with another card not quite as shabby!

Magical Moments

Hello-I hope you are all having a good week.

Well I couldnt resist having a play when this new little Tilda popped through my door yesterday with some of the new papers! This is 'Wonderful Tilda' from the New Rainbow Collection.

Ive used Tim's Sizzix clock die, which bewarned you are going to be seeing alot of!!hee hee. As Im in the process of making a 'working clock'!! for my craft room,(but that is on hold for now).

All the papers are Magnolia.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge 9

Hiya

There's a new challenge over at MDUC this week. It's Christmas in May!

I love making Christmas cards, though it did feel a little strange doing it this time of year,when it's just beginning to warm up here in the UK!!LOL

Ive used Gingerbread Tilda and the tree is called Smooth Winter Fir,all by Magnolia. Papers are Pion Design. Ive painted Tilda with Distress Inks Weathered Wood.

The Stampman Challenge-Recipe

Hiya

Ive actually had the time this fortnight to join in with The Stampman Challenge. Yay!! They've probably forgotton who I am!!LOL

I even bought the Sizzix Sewing Room Die about a month back and this is the first time Ive used it!!

But Ive got to say I'm so glad I did and I'm sure I'll get loads of use from it. I even let loose on my sewing machine.
Papers i have used are the gorgeous Pion Design.

I have put everything I used over on The Stampman Challenge Blog. Also go check out the rest of the DT's creations. Fantastic as always.

Also don't forget the open day at The Stampman on Saturday. Believe me there's BARGAINS GALORE!

Konfirmation

Hiya

Todays card is one I have made for my Cousin's DD who lives in Denmark. She has her Confirmation on Friday . Even though we don't really celebrate it here ,it is quite a big celebration over there.

The Image I have used is Petal Melody by Lemon Shortbread. Perfect for a teenager. I painted her with Distress inks.

Papers I have used are Pion Design. The 'Konfirmation' letters are also from Pion Design ' Klippark'

Ive used Nesta bilities Labels 18 and Ribbon Banners.

Under The Sea.... Under The Sea

At last blogger is working again. I think the whole crafting world has been tearing their hair out for the last 24 hours!!!!
I had just prepared this post last night and WHAM! it just disappeared.

The style of card I have done today is one I have had my eye on for a while but never found a Tutorial. Anyway my mate KYLIE guided me in the right direction and the TUT is HERE. Go check Kylie's out too, her blog is so gorgeous. Ive done mine 'Debbie's style'!!!LOL

Ive used  Mermaid Tilda. I have painted her with Distress Inks Stormy Sky and Black Soot. For the sides I have used Tim's On The Edge Die Scrollwork as it reminds me of waves.

The flowers I have rolled myself and painted with Crackle Paint Picket Fence.

Papers are Pion Design and I have used Nestabilities Labels 18 which are my faves at the moment. I have also used my Cherry Lynn Doliy Die and you can just see it under the cheesecloth.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge 95

Evening all!!!

Hope you have had a good week.

Today's card is made for this weeks Challenge over on MDUC. The challenge is to use KRAFT on your card and Ive gone a bit mad with it!!hee hee

Ive used the gorgeous MAJA Design papers 'Fika' from Sweden.

Tilda is 'Sneaky Tilda' from the 2010 Christmas Collection. But one which can be used all year round.

Ive painted her with Distress Inks on 300gsm hotpressed  extra smooth Watercolour paper. Ive tried all sorts but this seems to be the best for me. Colours I have used are Dusty Concorde and Stormy Sky.

Ive used Spellbinders Labels 18 which are from The Stampman. Ive also a little cheesecloth on there ,which seems to be all the craze now,with Seam Binding.

The large flower is a Prima flower which I have painted with Distress paint 'Picket Fence' The flowers using KRAFT I have rolled myself.

The sentiment is a Whimsy Stamp.

Just Because

Hiya

Just a quickie post tonight to share a card I have made for my friends Mum, who had organised a fabulous Garden Party on Saturday to celebrate the Royal Wedding. Wasn't the wedding just beautiful. I was hooked from beginning to end. It was just like a fairytale. My friends Mum Annie, had hung wedding dresses all around the garden from the past,such a lovely touch.  

I was going to put Tilda as a bride on, but then realised I didnt have one!!!!So Ive used Tilda with big ribbon! Papers are a mixture of Pion and Bo Bunny  'Gabrielle'. Ive used Whimsy 'Vintage Postcard' and mini stamps. The flowers Ive rolled myself.

Ive painted Tilda with Distress Inks Weathered Wood.

Ive used Tilda with Daffodil and the watering can stamp by Magnolia.

The papers are Pion Design 'ROS'

Ive painted Tilda with Distress inks on 300 gsm watercolour paper.

The sentiment stamp is from a Whimsy stampset  'Mini Postcards Sentiments'

 The ribbon is seam binding which I have painted with my |Distress inks.

Just A Note

Hiya

Hope you are all enjoying your week. It's just a short one here in the UK this week,due to it being a Bank Holiday and a certain Royal wedding tomorrow. Will you be watching?

For my card I have used Beautiful Tilda from the new Butterfly Collection.

Ive painted her with Distress inks. Papers are from Magnolia Mini Collection 6x6 papers. I have also used my Doily Die again(love this). The sentiment is from a Whimsy Sentiment Collection-Mini Postage stamps.

The large Butterfly is from Tim's Movers and Shapers Die Mini Butterfly set. The Pen Nib in the centre is also Tim's Ideaolgy.

Paper Piecing

Hiya AGAIN!! Sorry!! but Im back again.!!hee hee
                 Todays card  is one I have made for the Totally Tilda Challenge Blog. I entered their last Challenge and surprised to see I had won and their prize was to be their Guest Designer this next fortnight. So thankyou girls for picking my card. It really is an honour. :)... and I love taking part in your challenges.

For my card I have used Tilda with straw hat. The papers are Prima NEW Jack N Jill and were from The Stampman

The sentiment is from their sponser Lynne.

Ive even managed to slip Tim's pen nibs in there. I was determined to find a place for them!!. I also got these from The Stampman. Go check out Tim's Collection ,there's a great selection.

At the moment Ive a craze on Distress white Crackle paint 'Picket fence'. All i can say is WOW I lurrrvvvvvveeeee the stuff. I constanly have white fingers!!!!LOL

For once Tilda has been paper pieced together( well her Dress and Hat). It did feel strange not painting her!

The butterfly is from the GORGEOUS Pion Design Paper from Sweden and the flowers I have made myself!

Oh and the doily!!! I love that too, from Cherry Lynn Dies 'English Tea Party'.
