Afternoon
At last my Magnolia stamps have arrived and I couldn't wait to get started on Santa Edwin.!! He's my first ever Edwin stamp!!

I thought I would be a little more daring and watercolour the background too. I was so scared of spoiling it, I must admit, after a spending a couple of hours painting him!!

I got there in the end!!(I think)

Good Morning- I love these mornings when the kids leave for school at 7.30am!!lol It gives me chance to do these sort of jobs I have to fit in when I can!!
I keep seeing these gorgeous candle gift cards around blogland and they are slightly easier to make from the Candle Gift Book I made in a previous post. The instructions are HERE.
Ive done this one a little different and made it into a opening card.
The papers Ive used are Basic Grey 'Jovial', Tilda is 'Vintage Tilda with Roses' and the fabby new Nestie Labels 16!!!( I do wish they would stop bringing new ones out!!!!!lol)

Ive sprayed the whole card with Mica spray, but the pictures don't show the sparkle that well
and the Poinsettias are covered with 'Diamond Dust Twinklets', which add that extra sparkle.

The Magnolia song stamp inside definately had my name on it!!! I think I was the biggest Wham Groupie out there!!! (I'm showing my age now!!!LOL)

Also sprayed with Mica Spray

Also just to add that Christmas feeling, the tealights inside smell of Apple and Cinnamon Spice!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge

Evening all !!or Morning to you all Down Under. These two weeks do come around fast, but I'm not complaining in the slightest, I love it. If I wasnt part of the team I sure would be entering every week!!!lol (I think they got fed up of me!!!!)LOL
Anyway back to the CHALLENGE. This week you have to incorporate a tag in your entry.
I have used the first ever Tilda I bought and how lucky was I, because she's actually holding a tag!! I also used tags cards which are by Woodware.

Fabulously Flourished!!!!!

Morning- Well Ive finally plucked up the courage to use my ' Stroky Stamp!!!' It's been looking at me for long enough. I just didn't want to ink it up and spoil it!!!!lol Sado aren't I!!.
It's by Heroarts 'Fabulous Flourish'

Using my Versamark(So I didn't mess it up!!!LOL) I stamped and embossed with White detail powder.

A Gift from the Heart xx

Back Again!!!
Hi Everyone- Well its Challenge time for me again!!
Im absolutely addicted to painting with my distress inks. I haven't had much motivation this week in putting the cards together, so Ive just painted about 4 different images, so hopefully cards will follow soon.
Anyway I did manage to finish this card last night! I love this Tilda 'Blowing Bubbles' as she is so versitile and can be used all year round.

Ive painted her dress with Victorian Velvet, Hair Vintage photo and Tea Dye and skin Tattered Rose.

I dont think the photos show how sparkly she is, but she has sparkle on her wings and a light spray of mica Powder.

WOJ Challenge

Afternoon!
Well I finally managed to find the time to play with my New Dies from WOJ and I'm sure going to love these and they are soo useful. My mind is already running away with me with the grass die!!lol.... mmmmm Black,Halloween... mmmm....... I must get into the Autumn mode, although I am trying to hold off as long as I can!!
The stamp Ive used is from the Summer stamp kit from WOJ
Ive painted her with Distress inks and used Prima paper 'Fairy Flora' (love these!!!)

I've really tried to make this card look as Spanish as I possibly could, but not quite sure about this one :S!!lol....and I was sure I had some Marracas Charms somewhere!!

Anyway, I have used 'Spanish Tilda' and behind Tilda the lace and fan from Aspects of Design 'Lace 2'

I have used my distress inks Black Soot and Aged Mahogany and tattered Rose and Vintage photo for her face.

A Tea Light Gift Card

Morning! Ive got quite a large post today! Sorry!!
I got this idea from a magazine blog the other day and I immediately had to have a go! This was just a tester, as I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but its taken ages! I haven't had much crafting time this week with one thing and another, so had to grab every spare 5 mins here and there.

The stamps I have used are WOJ from their Summer Kit.

Ive used a mixture of Magnolia papers. (I feel really guilty when I cut into these!!)

Nestabilities label 10

The sentiments are also WOJ 'General Sayings'

Roses are made from grunge paper and are coloured with Weathered Wood Distress ink.

and bits of Ideology here and there.

The Stampman Challenge 5-Distress

Here's my card for The Stampman Challenge Blog.
This week is 'Distressed'. One we all love to do.

Ive used A Heroarts stamp CG120 Antique Writing and Distress inks 'Bundled Sage, Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge'. Also around the edges Ive used Distress Crackle paint Tattered Rose.

And he looked through the broken glass in the Porthole and......

'OOOO there was a Mermaid!!' LOL
I had such fun making this card late last night. I just didn't want to stop!! Hee Hee
It sure was a difficult to photograph too, as I couldn't get the lighting right. So this will have to do. I have used Mermaid Tilda(one of my faves at the moment). The papers are Magnolia.
The ship script came in very useful for this and is from the 'Nautical' sheet From Aspects of Design(But is now being sold separately)

I used UTEE over her (3 layers), then cracked it when cool to make it look like broken glass. Around the outside I used Ideaolgy 'Hitch Fasteners' as the bolts on the porthole. Also the netting at the top is from my Garlic!!

Tilda Kiyomi

Those of you who follow my blog, will know I love anything Japanese. I have had a Japanese penfriend called Kiyomi for over 25 years and we still keep in touch. Which means I have every stamp(I think!) available and when I saw Japanese Tilda, I knew she had to be mine!

The Lilac paper is Magnolia and the Japanese paper is from The Stampman
