Wow these Challenges sure do come around fast!!

This week over on The Stampman Challenge blog The challenge is 'Anything goes Easel Cards'

I think you'd already of guest I love Easels!!lol


I have used the lovely lady stamp from Aspects of Design 'Alluring Ladies'

She has been stamped and embossed with Moonglow ep. I used Nesties label 10 for the easel and distressed with Tattered Rose on the outer areas.

Metal corners and embellies were all from The Stampman.

This is my first card as Guest DT throughout August and September.
I have used Whiff of Joy stamp 'Musing Melinda'
I have painted Melinda with Distress inks 'Wild Honey' and 'Brushed Corduroy'
Used my Nestabilies and the wings from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Die 'Big Heart Wings' and the flower from 'The Tattered Floral' Die

Birthday Challenges

Helloooo
Ive had chance for a quick play tonight and it was one of those nights when my mojo had disappeared. Whatever I did just didn't look right!! I think it was because I tidied my craftroom up yesterday and couldn't find all my bits and bobs!!lol
Anyway this was the result. It'll just have to do!!

The Stampman ATC Swaps-Time

Ok so I said before I hadn't ever done an ATC (this is my second one)! But im really enjoying them so far and I loved doing this one. I don't really know what is was that scared me about them. Perhaps it was the size of them and when the subject 'Time' was chosen, I panicked even more!!lol

Anyway my Hero flowers to the rescue. I have used two flowers from two different sets here

CL375 Big Flower Pattern and CL 374 Big and small flowers. I love love love!! these sets and just couldnt decide which to have, so I just had to have them both!!lol
The clocks in the centre are just amazing and they can be found here.

So please, even if your not an avid ATC er! it's certainly worth a LOOK. There was some fab entries last time and I bet Janet will be in her element swapping them all.

Yay!! The 2nd Stampman Challenge is now OPEN!!

Take 2 Colours
Morning all. Here's my entry for the 2nd Stampman Challenge.I have used Heroarts Clear stamps 'Cupcakes'. A set ive had a while but never used before. Available from The Stampman. Ive also used my Nestabilities 'Blossom' and 'Fancy Tags'.
I think I was in a distress mood when I made this card as I also painted the edges with Distress Crackle Paint 'Tattered Rose'. It actually looks like icing sugar. The picture doesnt really do it justice Ive got to say, as it was a difficult one to photograph, as the cupcake kept spinning around!




As sprinkles on the cupcake I have used Cosmic Shimmer 'Jewels Iced Crystal'

Christmas Card In July???????

Morning All,
Just a quickie this morning as Ive loads to do today. Ive only two days left alone this week before the kids break up from school. Then piece no more!!!lol
I missed entering Challenges last week, so with it raining last night, I thought i'd set too and have a go this week. So it's a seasonal one and I know Christmas in July!!! Told you I was close to a mid life crisis!! Not far off hitting the 'PANIC' button!!!!lol


Flowers were made with 3 different sized Woodware punches, supposed to be Poinsettias ! Papers from stash!!

The Stampman Challenge blog has OPENED!!

Yes The Stampman Challenge Blog has now opened. It is a fortnightly challenge and the first Challenge is 'Anything Goes'.
For my card I have used Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Bigz Heart Wings. I'm such a sucker for hearts so this die was a must have. I have also used Woodware Circular cards and made it into a Criss Cross Card with another mini Heart card inside.

Ive done lots of distressing and also painted the edges with crackle paint.

For the flowers I used a Woodware Flower Punch.
Also used heart Nestabilities for the heart card.

An experiment!

Hi Peeps!
This WOJ stamp was the other part of my prize along with the Nesty labels from Just Magnolia. So I thought I would experiment with the labels to see what they looked like as an Easel Card, as it seems such a long time since I made one.
I really got these labels to go with another stamp(which I cant show you yet)! But it is perfect for them.....so watch this space. I'm saving it for one of THE STAMPMAN CHALLENGES which starts on the 16th July so go take a look!

Circular Criss Cross Card.

Afternoon Folks. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Its a little windy today up in the lovely Yorkshire, but still feels warm. I havent had much crafting time recently, but managed to make this last night, as everybody else was doing their thing!
I watercoloured Tilda with Black Soot Distress ink and then when dry covered her in Rock Candy for the crackled effect.
Papers were Black Market Paper Society-'Ebony and Alabastor Collection' from The Stampman.


I also used Nestabilities Label 2 and Circles.

This is the first ATC I have ever done. Not sure about it! but Ive given it a go.

Yippee!! My Prize has arrived

YES!!! MY prize I won from 'Just Magnolia' arrived this week . Well It was actually a $25 voucher to spend and boy did I soon spend it!!lol It certainly wasnt hard to do and I actually went over the budget!!Oh well it keeps me quiet and away from the TV for the boys to watch the footie!!(That's what I keep telling myself anyhow!!!)LOL! So Thankyou so much.
.My prize was the fabulous Nestie labels. I'm so going to love these. I think they look so elegant.

Tilda Was coloured with Distress inks 'Spun Sugar'. Used all my usual stash and punches.
This was the inside of the card but I thought I would try something different from the usual opening card.

A Gift from the Heart

Morning!!
I thought I would enter a few more challenges again. Im becoming quite addicted to the challenges now!!
Here Ive used Tilda holding Peony and given her quite a romantic look!
The papers are Basic Grey Capella edged with Distress Victorian Velvet ink. The usual favourites too,Nesties Cuttlebug folders,Punches.

The wings are from the new Tim's Sizzix Aterations die 'Big Heart wings' found HERE

Something else Im going to love!lol The yummy music paper was also from The Stampman


Ive used Rock Candy on her to give her the glazed crackled effect. A bit difficult to photograph !

The glass pink gems on the side are also from The Stampman(New!) and I didnt know we had them until Friday!! I'll definately be buying more of them!!lol(bet Jill hasnt even seen them!)ha


The inside also with the New glass gems and yummy metal corners!

Paper Roses!!!

Can you remember the song!!Bit before my time!!lol But I couldn't stop singing it in my head while making them.
I made this card quickly this afternoon for my friend's birthday. Luckily I had already water coloured Tilda. I painted her dress and roses with Aged Mahogany Distress ink.
For the flower I used 'Tattered Florals'

It's a quick post tonight! My favourite program 'The Vampire Diaries' is on at 9pm and loads to do before then and its a must see program!!

You make me Smile

Hi all
Another lovely day here in the lovely Yorkshire. My kids were happy doing their thing, so I went off and did mine!!lol
I haven't had much time to play with the new Tim Holtz Sizzix die 'Tattered Florals' (Yes i know i'm VERY lucky to have one,they seem to be like gold at the moment!) and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I got it from the fabby STAMPMAN. I used the medium and small flower to make these flowers.

I'm loving water colouring with my DYE ink pads. For those who read my blog you will know I'm not a fan of colouring with pens(though there's nothing wrong with that!!)I just love painting and trying my best to improve and make do with what Ive got. For this Tilda Ive used Adirondack ink pad Pool(Yes! you dont just have to use distress inks) any dye ink will work.

The flowers were also coloured with Pool and edged with Distress Brushed Corduroy. The metal corners are from The Stampman.


The Just Magnolia Challenge this week is a sketch.
Basic Grey Challenges this week is Turquoise,Brown and Cream. So Pool was perfect for this and I used my yummy Basic grey 'stroky papers'
.

My pictures aren't very good as it was quite a difficult one to photograph, but Tilda was actually inside the card and the outer panel was an aperture . I used my nestie Circles for this.

After entering Crafty Cardmakers Challenge the other week and having to decorate the inside of your cards, I'm loving this look too. It just adds that extra dimension.

Spot the Difference!!!!

Hi All
Ive been such a bad blogger lately with one thing and another. So seeing I got a top five blinky this week(for last weeks card) from Magnolia Down Under I thought I would enter this weeks challenge again- Polka Dots.
I dug every piece of paper out of my stash I had with dots on (I think most of it is Basic Grey) and my punches which range from Woodware to Martha Stewart.
