Birthdays At The Ribbon Girls

I hope you are enjoying your Bank Holiday so far. The weather however is another matter....what's happened??Rain rain and more rain!!

There's a Magnolia challenge beginning over at the Ribbon Girls Challenge Blog today.......'Birthdays'

 For my card Ive used the gorgeous new papers by Riddersholm 'Tailgate Marked'

Tilda with Elsie the Lamb is watercoloured with Distress Reinkers

 The flowers are made with Sizzix Thinlits 'Dogwood 'flower

Other Dies used are DooHickeys Rose Petal, Jungle Leaves and Scalloped Tag

Sizzix On the Edge Notebook,Doily and Butterflight

From the Ribbon Girls shop I used  Rusty Bells, Cheesecloth, Natural Button Twine, Natural Jute Mesh Ribbon, Laila White Vintage style Lace and 10mm Ivory Open Roses

Ribbon Girls Colour Challenge

 Good Morning and WOW!!

What a glorious weekend we are having here in ♥Yorkshire ♥

There is also a new COLOUR challenge beginning over at the Ribbon Girls Challenge blog and this week we want to see Lilacs/Purples

My card today is for my cousin who this week has opened her own Tearooms in Lytham St Annes called

'Alices' based on Alice In Wonderland..

Here are a few pics. She has worked so hard the last few weeks and boy does it looked to of paid off.

So I had to include Red Roses on there even though the challenge was Lilac (painting the Roses Red)

I even had pansies on there first too, but it looked way too busy!

from the Ribbon Girls shop I used Lilac Velvet Lace, Cheesecloth, Resin Cameo Roses Frame, Teapot Bronze Charm, 16mm White Lace and Pearl trim, Lilac Seam Binding, WOC Roses in red and Lilac and 17mm Laila White Vintage Lace

♥ Summer Strawberry Tilda ♥

Hello Again

Well I managed a little sneaky painting time yesterday and coloured a couple of images.

I lurve this one ....Summer Strawberry Tilda. ♥

We just ADORE strawberries in my house...They dont last 2 minutes ;D

Ive painted with Distress ReInkers

Ive used the fabulous DooHickey Strawberry Tag and Strawberry Die and the Rose leaf for the leaves.

Love them..they look so real dont you think

Happy 15th Birthday Sophie

Hi There

Today is my daughter Sophie's 15th Birthday ♥

I cant believe where the time has gone.

I told her I didnt really have the time to make a card this year, but all i got was 'HUH you made Grandma one!!!' so i thought Id better.

The card is of Sophie and my little chocolate Spaniel. I used one of the new Magnolia Animal Of The Year Collection 'Tilda With Chanel The Dog'

Well I finally managed to have a little colour time with the new Magnolia Animal of the Year Collection.     Ive used Tilda with Leo The Lion and the Paws are from the Animal Love Kit all painted with Distress Reinkers

Sir Stampalot has the full range in stock

 I wanted to give my card a Safari feel, but also wanted to squeeze in the new Lily Of The Valley DooHickey on there.
