DooHickeys only at MDUC (No Images)

Hiya

We have another Challenge just beginning over at MDUC and this week and we want to see DooHickeys and NO images.

I loved this challenge so much.

I do enjoy playing with dies especially DooHickeys :D

For my card I used Riddersholm Papers- A Christmas Story. I just adore the greens and creams in this collection.

I also got to use my Prima Shutters and Chipboard Bricks again.

Dies used are DooHickeys

Peony, Foliage from Vintage Flowers and Swirl, Rose Leaf, Feathers and Brides Bow.

Cheesecloth, Resin Bird and Flowers from the Ribbon Girls

and the gorgeous trim from LLC

Whooo Hoooo Anything Goes At The Ribbon Girls

Yayyy the Ribbon Girls Challenges have started again :D

and this weeks challenge is Anything Goes.

Ive used a gorgeous new Tilda Ive been itching to watercolour from the Moscow Collection-Elephant Show Tilda and Miss Dorothy Elephant painted with...Yayyy you guessed it....Distress Re-Inkers

Papers are the wonderful Riddersholm Fall Flea Market

I am so enjoying these gorgeous papers.

Also on there are Liquid Pearls, Snowtex and Glitter glue.

Im also loving the new Bow DooHickeys too. Here Ive added flower sent to me by my lovely friend Camilla.

The matching Lillies I picked up from the Magnolia shop in Sweden last year..

Beaded lavender Gypsophalia, 12mm Ivory Scalloped Flat Lace, Resin Corner from Prima Treasure Architecture Collection, Cheesecloth and Ivory Lace and Pearl trim

♥ A LOVE Hanger ♥

Good Morning Peeps :D

Well its not so good here today. The weather is wet :(

Roll on Spring hey!!

I actually noticed this week its not getting dark as early,so at least we are heading the right way.

Im back again with more ♥Romance.♥

This is a hanger I also made for the last years Magnolia Ink.

I used Mini world Tilda's and with the magazine Vintage Magazine look, I painted in Black/White with a touch of Red

I loved getting all messy with the look of the hanger and a few different techniques on there from crackle glaze to Ultra thick. So I didnt want to over embellish as it would hide all this.

A Book Of Love

Hi There

and a happy Monday to you ♥

Today to show is a project which was published in the Valentine issue of Magnolia Ink 2013

I had such fun making this from and old book from a junk shop.

Firstly I glued the inside pages together and left clipped together until they were dry. Then using a craft knife, I cut a large rectangle out of the middle for the vintage postcards. The whole thing I then painted with gesso.

For the postcards I used various Magnolia Mini World and aged using distress Walnut Stain

Papers were Maja

The front I painted Tilda in sepia and embossed with clear EP. Once dry I cracked and added more Walnut stain

This is my card which made the cover of last years Special Edition Magnolia Ink.

I really loved this issue as we went Vintage and Magnolia had the great idea of turning it into a Old Vintage Newspaper. It was a one off Special Edition.

Summer Loving

Hiya Folks

Yayyyyyy its the first challenge of 2014 over at MDUC and we have lots of new changes. Go over there to find out more. :D

This weeks challenge is Summer Delights. I forget that its their Summer down under and cracking the flags.. Its hard to imagine with the weather here being wet and cold!

So it was a change from the winter trees and snowflakes and out with a little Summer Delight and it was nice..

I used a new Tilda from the new Lost and Found Collection...Tilda With Spring Heart and masked her with a Magnolia oldie the Swing.The Heart flowers are also from this Collection.

The flowers are Wild Roses and I have taken the bottom two layers and added a pearl brad.

Lotv New Release Blog Hop

Time for another Lili of the Valley design team blog hop and today we’re celebrating our first launch of 2014

Here’s my card

Ive used James Big Heart..Isnt he just the cutest..

I have painted him with Distress ReInkers.

I have also used a LOTV sentiment Love which is hiding there behind the flower!hee hee

On the heart I added a little Distress Crackle Glaze. It was hard to capture with my camera,but I think you can see it a little here.For the heart droplets I used Frantage.
