My First Ever Digi..

 Hiya
Yep I managed my first ever Digi???
When Ive tried these before its never worked, as my Langton paper is too thick to go through my printer. But for some bizarre reason it worked through my sons and its the EXACT same printer??? Weird or what??!! LOL
I think I should swap them when he's out!!! ;D

I bought one of Krista's images from Saturated Canary 'Maxine The Florist'.  I think I chose a difficult one too for a first attempt, but its my dream to be a florist...One day perhaps :D

I think it may of run slightly, so I painted the best way I could but I did run under the tap first to wash of the excess ink. This definitely helped.
I coloured her with Distress re-Inkers on Langton Water Colour Paper (Hotpressed Extra Smooth)

Just loving her Straw hat..
You cant tell from the picture butIve used Glossy Accents on her glasses.
Ive also used one of the gorgeous new tags from LOTV which works perfect with her.
Dies used are
Magnolia Fir Tees
Tims Sizzix fence and Picture Wheel

The corners I made x

Magnolia Vintage Angels

 Hiya :D
Im back again to share a little surprise I received a couple of weeks ago.
The Magnolia DT received these beautiful Vintage Angels from Magnolia.
Once again, me being me, just had to age them and make them into Shabby Vintage Angels.
This is what I did.

Like the previous post I painted each one with Gesso. Once dried I aged with Distress Inks. This time I used Pumice Stone so they would look more like a statues.

Once dried I rubbed slightly so that the colour underneath would show through. The white Angel I brushed with gold.
Really loving these now :D

They are available at the Magnolia Store and Ive also seen Sandy has them at Live and Love Crafts. Im certain you will LOVE them..

Bye for now
Hugs

Shabby Debbie'd doooooooo!!!!

Hello There
I hope you are all ok and enjoying this glorious weather we are having.

After my last post I have had a few emails on how I 'Shabbied' the beautiful Resin frames from the Ribbon Girl on the picture above.

As beautiful as they are, when they arrived I thought they needed a little roughing up or 'Debbie'd' as Mary called it!! ;D

I first coated in gesso (white paint will do)
When dried I brushed on Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I then dipped my finger into the paint and slightly brushed the top of the pattern. This helps to highlight the beautiful intricate detail of the frame.
Just Stunning.. Mary....I hope you have plenty...Ive a new craze..:D
Now to make a card
Have a fabulous weekend everyone
Hugs

Above is Resin Cameo frame which I bought from the Ribbon Girl shop. As beautiful as it was, it was a little too clean and shiny for me so I have roughed it up a little to make it look a little more shabby:D ( Sorry Mary ;D)

Cheesecloth, Beaded Ivory Gypsophalia, Cordelia Ivory Fine Vintage Cluny Lace
The corner I have made myself using Airdry clay.. The mould I made myself too.
