Recycling with Alcohol inks.

Hi Everyone
Well today ive managed to have another play with the cuttlebug. After seeing on a inspirational blog about re-using coke cans, which i thought was a great idea,i thought i would give it ago.
First of all collect your fizzy pop cans.Carefully cut top and bottoms off and cut up the middle to make squares.(can be sharp so be careful!!)
Then put through cuttlebug using all your different folders. Here i have added alcohol inks which look great.

Also different cutting dies work great too

I love how this has turned out.The alcohol ink colours here were Meadow and Sherbert Pink.

Right off to make something with them.
Thanks for looking
Bye for now

Thankful

Here is the Stamp that Helen(from The Stampman) bought me for my birthday.I just love it and couldn't resist trying it in different colours. It is a Hero stamp and not a new one, just one i have had my beady eye on for a while!!I have used the alcohol inks and also managed to sneak in using the cuttlebug, which i am liking more and more.
The colours here are sunshine yellow and Peach Belini.

Juniper and Sherbert pink

Gold and Watermelon
Also for my birthday I got a few copic markers which Im off to have a play with, though i must say i dont tend to colour in over much.Though they do seem to glide beautifully.I just need to have a play! But you know what they say 'So much to do,so little time!!ha ha
See you soon and thankyou for looking.

Tuesday Taggers Retro Heaven

Hi Everyone in blogland!!

It is hard to be in my craftroom at the moment with the kids off and the weather nice.Im afraid my inner self is dragging me outside rather than in.I have sooooooo many thankyou cards to make too,so hopefully i will get them made tomorrow!! (with a stamp Helen at work bought me for my birthday)!!!
Tonight i did manage a little sneaky time in craftland.I have altered an oval shaped box my cousin gave me a gift in for my birthday for this weeks Tuesday Taggers.
I must say since joining in the odd challenge here and there i have used some of my stash i have had for years.

I honestly dont know where i got this paper, but i have found it perfect for this challenge. So instead of stroking it............!!!!!
I made my own flower with organza ribbon and the flower brad is a by dovecraft.

Below is a coaster and is actually a present for someone!! hence why i decorated the gift box,but do you know what 'it doesnt fit!!!!' LMAO!!!

Think It says it all about me doesnt it!!!i should keep it-but then again its perfect for the person i bought it for!!!ROFL She will kill me when she reads that!!! ha ha

Anyway thats all for today folks.Take care and hopefully i will be back in the swing of it soon.

Bye for now

As you know from previous posts I have a Japanese Penfriend for probably over 20 years now.I was about 13 when I first wrote to her and we are still in touch and Kiyomi visits my blog quite often. Most of the things i make I send to her too.
Anyhow this came through the post from her this week. Its a 3D card and I love it.Sophie and I get quite excited when a letter comes from Japan.
