Cupid Love

Hello There
A couple of weeks ago I was asked by Sandy at LLC if I would stand in for my fellow Magnolia Teamie over at Live and Love Crafts DT Blog while she moved home.
Wow! What an honour! Of course I said yes, but at the same time Im shaking in my boots because all the DT girls are just amazing..
Scary... but at the same time exciting! Something what I really need at the moment to give my adrenaline a boost!:D
So I'm there for the next six weeks

Each week the girls follow a challenge theme and this week it is a Love Song or Movie.
I kind of had a choice of two themes in my head.
The song I have chosen is 'Cupid' by Sam Cooke.
Ive also been inspired by the movie 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves' because the theme song by Bryan Adams 'Everything I do' was our wedding song and seeing as this weekend is my wedding Anniversay, I just couldn't choose between the two.

For my card Ive used the gorgeous Maja papers 'A Gift for You-Sent With Love'. Oh I just love anything with hearts on.

I have masked three Magnolia images and watercoloured with Distress Reinkers to give a Sepia, vintage effect and a little Aged Mahogany on the hearts.
I have made a shaker card, so have also punched out smaller hearts which you can see behind the acetate.

The Rolled Roses I made myself and the gorgeous bits and pieces Ive put below the post from the LLC shop.
I did actually manage to use them rather than collect and stroke all of Sandy's gorgeous goodies.
I do have a tendency to collect all this yumminess instead of actually using it.

Ive used 'You Are My Valentine'  Tilda from Lovely Duo Collection Masked with 'I Love you' and 'Love' Text from earlier Collections.
For the Diecuts Ive used Doohickeys
Thankyou so much for stopping by today
I wish you a wonderful day ♥
Hugs

Thanks sweetie; I'm so glad you accepted - I hope you'll enjoy it and obviously you have nothing to be nervous about!!! Excellent choice of paper; this sheet is perfect for Valentines. Very cute image and pretty roses; cool idea to add the frosted berries to the centres.
