When your feeling Blue......!!!!!!!!!!

Hope your all having a fab Bank Holiday!
Well what can I say, the weather so far is Cr..ubbish, my hubby is in bed with man flu and the kids are fed up........so what do I do?? Go water colour a Tilda!!!!lol
I keep seeing this swing on Tent cards and Tilda actually 'swings'!!So I thought I'd have ago and see if it worked on an easel card and it worked! ..
Ive distressed the edges with my scissors but this time I haven't inked them and added a couple of distressed flowers again using the 'Tattered Floral Sizzix Die'.
The corners are 'New ' in from The Stampman (they arent actually new, just something we forgot about and when Jill tried to get some more they were VERY limited. Jill and I have already raided them and I definately want more!!)

The swing is attached by two gold rings (can't think of what they are called, as hubby is watching 'Lord of the rings!!)LOL

I don't know why, but Im so addicted to water colouring with Distress inks at the moment. I find it so relaxing .

It's stunning Debbie! I love the flower and your colouring is wonderful. Sounds like you had one of those days. Let's hope the weather cheers up tomorrow, cos I desperately need to do some gardening before the runner beans on the kitchen window ledge take over completely!

I have never heard of water painting with distress inks - and I have every color produced LOL. How the heck do you do that?

This is truly beautiful Debbie. What a gorgeous design. Watercolouring with DIs is my favourite method too and now they've brought out the 12 new colours it's even better.

I think I neeeeeed some of those pretty corners.

Hope your weekend improves on the home front. Having to put up with a bout of man flu is not nice ....... for you that is!

Hugs

Hi Debbie,
This looks amazing, I really love the effect in an easel card, I made mine in a tent card, it was a bit fiddly fixing the rings but it was well worth the effort....

Lovely Job!!!
