New Years Resolution!!

Well last years resolution was use to use more of my Designer Papers and I did, in fact I cannot stop using them,or buying them!!LOL
For years I've been making my own backgrounds! But the papers available are so WOW!! You've just gotta love them!
This years Resolution is to ink up my stamps more than ONCE!! (Ive plenty to go at!!)
I bought this Tilda back in the summer and my immediate reaction was to paint her red with black hair HERE. This time Ive painted her in softer colours and she looks different again.
To see more pics and what I have used pop over to My Magnolia Blog
Thanks for looking .
Have a great Weekend
Love Debbie xxx

Gorgeous card, as usual, Debbie. Isn't it amazing how just a change of colours can make a stamp look so different? That's one of the great things about stamping. I know what you mean about papers. I can't stop buying them either! Every time I go shopping with Sally I tell her not to let me buy any more, but she never listens! ;-)

Love your resolution...I have been going through my box of stamps and redescovering really old stamps....but there are lots there that are yet to see ink.....how shocking is that...so I think I need to make sure at least every stamp has been inked...let alone inked twice LOL!!!!!

As always thanks for your inspiration, you are a creative wonder!!! Hugs Juls

Oh My Word!!! this is such a beautiful card i can't tell you how much i love it, it's stunning, and is vintagey looking because of the colours you have used all those dusky pinks are my favourite colours along with Aubergine, this really is a masterpiece. Can i ask a question Debbie? How do you colour your backgrounds, around the stamped item? ive admired those, like, forever, i love that grungey 'dirty' look its much more subtle and vintagey (how can you tell vintage/victorian is my favourite genre, lol) than stark white or ivory, my email addy is vickshine1@btinternet.com or http://the-artful-codger.blogspot.com.........I could really do with knowing the answer, thankyou in advance dear lady! your work is phenomenal and you really are a great inspiration to us all, ive followed you for quite a while now, and you never cease to amaze me, thanks again Debs for sharing with us xxxx Hugs & Blessings, Vick xxxx
