When your feeling Blue......!!!!!!!!!!

Hope your all having a fab Bank Holiday!
Well what can I say, the weather so far is Cr..ubbish, my hubby is in bed with man flu and the kids are fed up........so what do I do?? Go water colour a Tilda!!!!lol
I keep seeing this swing on Tent cards and Tilda actually 'swings'!!So I thought I'd have ago and see if it worked on an easel card and it worked! ..
Ive distressed the edges with my scissors but this time I haven't inked them and added a couple of distressed flowers again using the 'Tattered Floral Sizzix Die'.
The corners are 'New ' in from The Stampman (they arent actually new, just something we forgot about and when Jill tried to get some more they were VERY limited. Jill and I have already raided them and I definately want more!!)

The swing is attached by two gold rings (can't think of what they are called, as hubby is watching 'Lord of the rings!!)LOL

I don't know why, but Im so addicted to water colouring with Distress inks at the moment. I find it so relaxing .

The Crafty Chronicles

Morning! What a gorgeous day it is.
Thought i'd better blog this card which I made for a few challenges.
I bought this Tilda a few weeks back and she's been sat on my desk very patiently!!lol My mum has just seen her and fallen in love with her(she's in her 60's)!!hee hee
Anyway back to the card. As usual I've used my nesties and the gorgeous shabby chic papers.The flower was made with 'The Crafty Chronicles' newspaper which I shared with Jill and inked with Victorian Velvet ink. I painted Tilda with 'Spun Sugar'
The metal corners I pinched from the birthday card Jill sent me last year!!(Whoops sorry Jill).I used to have loads of them in my stash but I think ive used them all. Everything used is from The Stampman except Tilda but ........cough cough!!!........................lol!!!





I really enjoyed decorating the inside

I'm actually a day late posting this as Sophie was 11 yesterday. So a big Happy Birthday to you my lil' sweetie.
She wanted an easel card the rest was up to me! cheers hun!lol

I used a Tilda stamp and painted her with Distress ink Stormy Sky.The papers were Tim's Shabby collection distressed with inks and the flowers were.......wait for it...made with the NEW FAB Tattered Floral sizzix die!!!!!!! YES I MANAGED TO GET ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and the wait was worth it they are fantastico!!!!!!!!!!!lol





So from now on everything i make will have these beauties on!!

Here's a card below I made from the same set of stamps.

Just think what you could make with them!! For this card i have used one of Tim Holtz new sizzix dies for the card shape and embossed with folder 'Jules Jewels'. This time I used the reversed side and inked with New Distress inks Bundled Sage and Stormy sky around the edges.Then with a white pencil lightly highlighted the embossed pattern.
