This is a Birthday card for my Japanese penfriend Kiyomi. It was another of those stamps when I saw it I immediately had to buy it. I think I have sent her every oriental image available over the years!!I hope she doesnt mind, as really, I think I should be sending things a little more western!! So to make up for it Ive bought her a gorgeous china mug with the Union Jack on it! nothing more western than that and some Cadburys Choccies!!hee hee
The stamp is Wasabi Ketto By Stamping Bella.
The words below say 'Best Wishes' Which are from Aspects of Design Stamp sheet 'Japanese Dragonfly Dreams'
Used Nesties etc
Hope you all have a fab weekend

I have used Aspects of Design 'Butterfly Beauties' .I stamped the image with versamark and embossed with Moonglow Midnight Violet obsidian and then watercoloured with distress ink Dusty Concord. The edges I inked with Adirondack Purple Twilight AND just look below. Its one of the NEW Cuttlebug folders(thats one of the reasons I was up so early, I just couldnt wait to play!!)lol It is called Jules Jewels and is going to be a defo favourite of mine!! I got all from The Stampman .

Cuttlebug love

I think im safe to post this now.I posted it last Friday for my Cousin and Aunty who lives in Denmark so hopefully they should receive it soon.!!
I am also entering this into the Flutterby Wednesday Challenge

Yes Ive used my cuttlebug and nesties for just about everything except the stamped flower at the bottom right hand corner. Ive also used my mini sewing machine for the circles. Have you ever sewn in a circle??Lol Im getting the hang of it now.
Im still using my papers, though, I did have a night off last night and got all messy again. After watching the very inspiring Jill Tcuk!! (I like that its trendy)!!lol Tuck i mean on Create and Craft,it inspired me again to try and finish my photo frame(though I havent yet!!dont think I ever will either!!!)But it is so much fun and Jill's are just so fab.Go HERE to have a look at them. You've just gotta love Moonglow!!
Anyway must dash.My ironing pile is growing AGAIN!!!

Im also doing well with my papers I stroke and Im really enjoying using them.

A Couple of Challenges

I thought I'd have a go at a couple of challenges.Though Im still getting the hang of this.Ok firstly there is the Simon says Challenge Blog 'Punch it out' and New DT Member Search.

I am also entering it into The Spoonful of Sugar Challenge which is 'Layering!'

Ive made a wallet out of paper and added the punched flowers. The stamp is a sugar nellie-Gorguss Girl(Ive pinched from Sophie-or should I say borrowed!!)hee hee

Also you can see ive lined the inside to make it more robust. The papers are from my stash which I normaly stroke!! and I think are K & Co.The beige paper on the outside is actually a canvas paper from Woodware, so it is quite strong and perfect for this.

Also I added a few Ideology elements.

Butterfly Beauties

Just a quickie post tonight(football is on!!!_BORRRIINNGG!!)
Ive actually managed to squeeze a little crafting in over the last couple of days, which has been nice.Though Sophie is becoming VERY interested now so ive double the mess!!Im not complaining though as it is nice to spend time with her. She's actually quite good too. She'll have her own blog soon!!at 10!!!
Below is a card I made on Sunday.I actually used Versamagic dewdrop chalks.(I only have four colours).Ive never used them before so thought I would have a play. They were really nice to use and look very delicate.
I thought i'd have a go at an easel card ,but in a different shape and really liked the result. The stamps were from Aspects of Design 'Butterfly Beauties'
Right off for a cuppa and YES! the football has finished!!lol

Great Show on C&C!

Well done Jill, what a fab show and Leonie was lovely.Even my hubby sat and watched and I could see him chuckling away.I found it really inspiring.
I have to admit from time to time I get a little complacent being in craft all the time, hence why I like to alter things occasionally(im sure you understand what I mean)but after todays show,it makes me want to get all my moonglow goods out again and get all really messy.Really inspiring! I'd forgotton about these cards which I made ages ago,so it was a nice surprise when they appeared on todays show.It was one of the first butterfly stamps i bought(No ian gave me this once because it didnt fit the woodmount properly(job perks!!)lol

This stamp I did buy!!lol
I used Moonglow ink Violacious Violet on this card.
Thanks for looking and incase you missed the show it will be repeated again.Sorry I dont know the times yet but Jill will post them soon .

Oh Dear! I think i may of just broken my news years resolution. Those papers may have to be stroked a while longer!!ha

New Years Resolution!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!Im still here!!
Hope you are all having a great start to the New Year.
I'm actually having a little difficulty getting back into it!!Not that i dont want to as Im itching to and grab every single moment I can in my craftroom, but just not getting the chance. Its been Emmerdale week here with the big story lines etc and living so near,my two(and hubby) are hooked!!Which means I have to watch it too!!lol Then I get comfy by the fire ,then have a bath and well thats it,crafting is out!!!So hence the lack of it.What a sad bunch we are.!!!!lol
Anyhow for the card below I have used some of my Christmas pressies.Yes Hero stamps.Always a big favourite of mine(thats how I found The Stampman all them years ago).
The papers are out of my stash which is part of my New Years Resolution BEING-I must start to use them and not stroke them!!!!I have so many just sitting there its such a waste really!!!(I really dont think Im alone here!!!)

This card is for my Japanese penfriend Kiyomi for the lovely Christmas goodies she sent me.
Hopefully This weekend Im going to do my best to CRAFT!!!!!!!!(Kids are you reading this!!!)lol

Quickest Christmas Card Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday Taggers Let it Snow
Oh Dear mad panic or what!!!!! Do you ever forget anyone with your cards???I really thought I had finished with them until one popped through my door the very last minute!!(I think I still have posting time!well just i hope!!!)
All I can say is thank goodness for my cuttlebug.I embossed the white card alone with the snowflake folder and quickly stamped the tree and embossed with crystal ep.

For the leaves I sprinkled with cosmic shimmer crystal jewels.Must say it goes with todays weather very well.!!!
Also if you scroll down there are more posts on snowflakes!!!much more!!lol

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas!!!

Yes I truly am!!I can't remember the last time we had snow on Christmas Day.It would be just perfect . Its just a week too early!!!

Below are some wine glass charms I have made from my snowflake punch and shrink plastic.Ive also added a little glossy accents and glitter for that extra sparkle.I saw some in a shop and they were £9.99 for 6.!!!!So I got my re-cycling head on again and set to work!!!

I actually added a bell on mine just so I can hear any little thieves having a taste!!!lol

Also while on the subject of snowflakes,Ive just noticed this card matches by background!!!lol
This is what I call my quick and easy card and Ive made quite a few like this in different colours too.All Ive done is used the white core coloured card and run through my cuttlebug with the snowflakes folder. Then i sanded the top slightly with a sanding block for the white to show through. So simple but effective.Embellished with...yes you guesssed it 'snowflakes'!!!lol

The stamp is another old stamp by heroarts
I think that may be just about it with the Christmas Cards!!!for this year
Thanks

Tuesday Taggers Jolly Old St Nick

This weeks Tuesday Taggers has been dedicated to St Nick.
Rather than make a card(bit fed up with cards now!!!LOL) I'd thought id make a tree decoration. So I drew a bauble on shrink plastic and stamped my favourite St Nick image using black archival ink. Then I added a little colour using Brilliance inks and for the holly i used sakura pens. When I shrunk it down i added gold acrylic paint around the edges

Then added a couple of jingle bells and Organza ribbon.

Here is a card I made for a friend last year, but jazzed him up alittle with raspberry and pool adirondack inks.
'HO HO HO !!!' not long now kids
