Pion Design Papers

Morning... Today Ive a card to share which is for my lovely Mum's Birthday this week. The weather has just been too nice to craft this past few days, that I have been so behind with my cards! Anyway when this paper arrived yesterday it was Bye Bye sun !! and hello craftroom!!!!LOL
           Some of you may recognise it ,but is by Pion Design from Sweden and is just sooooooooo GORGEOUS! Very Vintage romantic paper and I felt so guilty cutting into it!!  It is also soon to be available in the UK!!!................ ;)  (wink wink)...happy happy!!!!

I have used 'Fotoram'or Photoframe as you can see from the picture below. I took a piccy of the whole sheet so you could see! The butterflies are also Pion from 'Klippark'

Well I didnt know where I was going with this card ,as I havent my crafting head on at the moment!! So Ive looked around to see what challenges were available before I made a start!!! So Ive tried to tie a few in together.

   Its the school Hols at the moment , so I'm a constant taxi!! I just get sorted again and it's 'Muuumm......do this ...do that'!!So everything else takes a back seat!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge 91

Evening! or morning  in Austrailia!!
            There's another challenge on Maggie Down Under and this week it's NO DESIGNER PAPERS!! Yes you have to make your own backgrounds!!
            I loved doing this(Sorry Girls!!) but I got the chance to get all inky and messy again and I dug out my Alcohol inks.

I went for more softer colours for this card using Pink Sherbert,Aqua and Juniper. I have done each of the three colours separately on the flowers and the background is mixed using the three. I then stamped using a Tim Holtz Stamp and embossed with white embossing powder.

Behind the flowers I have used 'Cheese Cloth' which Camilla sent me to try. It is like the Crinoline I used earlier on the shoe but a little thinner. it looks great inked too!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge 90

Hiya- Well Ive gatecrashed MDUC again!!!LOL. I'm such a Magnolia addict, two weeks seems like forever!!! Hee hee and Ive so many images these days ready to be used. You should see my growing pile of cards now!!!! 
           The Challenge this week over on MDUC is HEAVY METAL!!(No head banging Ladies!!!LOL)
        For this card Ive used the gorgeous  PION papers sent to me by the gorgeous Camilla. They are a Swedish paper and boy do I wish we could get hold of them in England!!! (but we can't)!! This card really doesn't do them justice believe me, because Im saving the best ones until last ;)

Tilda and her Fat FreeCupcake!

Hiya

It was my friends birthday yesterday and she's always on a diet!! So I thought this fat free cupcake was

perfect for her, plus it kept me quiet making it,only trouble there was no bowl to lick out after!!!LOL 

 Ive used MINI-Tilda carrying birthday cake and painted her with Distress Inks. For the cupcake Ive used flowers from my stash and ribbon. Instructions how to make it are HERE.

The Stampman Challenge-Anything Tim!!

Its anything Tim (you know his name!!) over on the Stampman Challenge Blog this week! A fab challenge for most of us. I fancied doing something different too, that wasn't the 'usual Tim' style, but could incorporate all his fab bits and bobs. I found a shoe template via facebook, which I thought would work and I know us ladies LOVE our shoes!!!LOL I thought with Mother's day coming up I could use it as a gift box for my mum.

I used some Crinoline from our local Fent shop and cut out using my 'Tattered Floral Sizzix Die' and added the Foliage and a pearl brad from my stash. For the shoe I used some gorgeous Bo Bunny Paper 'Gabrielle' and again I was detemined to use the 'Tissue Paper 'Sketchbook' which I used as a frill along the top of the shoe.

Crinoline is fab to use on cards also for the 'Shabby Chic look' and is great stained with distress inks .

Spring Has Sprung

Hiya- Well what a glorious day it's been here in the UK today. I cant believe I was up crafting at 6AM!!!! Crikey it must of been sunny.!!!LOL It will probably be raining tomorrow again!!

Ive been itching to play with lots of new goodies!! Firstly my stamps. All these lovely Magnolia stamps are sat looking at me, itching to be inked up and distressed! Then there's the yummy new tissue strip (Butterflies) by Tim Holtz that I just HAD to squeeze on my card somewhere AND lastly the gorgeous NEW Magnolia

 6 x 6 Butterfly Paper!!!!  I LOVE IT!!

Spring is Here!......... well nearly

Afternoon-Well I couldn't resist breaking myself off from what I SHOULD of been doing this afternoon! I did start making it a few days ago and well my room was just calling me!!!ha ha

Ive used Tilda from the NEW Butterfly Dreams Collection 'Tilda with Butterfly Dress'. The whole scene reminds me of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz

Papers are Prima 'Jack And Jill' and are from The Stampman. The sentiment is from a Stempelglede Collection 'Just a note' from my teamy  Camilla's husband's shop in Norway.

I loved painting this Magnolia Romantic Window stamp from the So Special Collection!

Ive used Distress inks on 300gsm Water Coloured paper. I don't know if you can see, but on the window Ive used Crackle Glaze for extra dimension.

A quickie post for you today. This is a card I have made for my Japanese penfriends birthday.

I couldnt believe it when I stumbled across this stamp. I think I have sent her every oriental stamp out there and when I saw this one, especially being designed by Elizabeth Bell!!! It was mine!!!!lol

The Japanese writing says 'Best Wishes' by Aspects of Design. Papers are a mixture of Tim's 'Shabby Chic' Collection and Magnolia.

For the fan I used Sizzix Die Rosettes by Tim Holtz

Everything else is from Stash.

         Its Our Wedding Anniversary tomorrow and this is the card Ive made for my other half!!!Crikey!18 years!! Where does time go!(Nearly a life sentence!!!)LOL.  Hiya-Sorry if I'm boring you with more hearts, but i'm just making the most of it while I can!!lol. I bought this Tilda last year when I was just becoming obsessed with Magnolia and distress inks, so it was nice to dig her out again and believe me she was at the VERY bottom of the pile of my Magnolias!!

Again I tried to get as many Magnolia stamps as I could on here. I also used my NEW Doo-hickey 'Rose Leaf' which is gorgeous and looks sooo real.

Papers are 'English Rose' by Kaisercraft and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tilda is painted with Distress inks

Today to share with you Ive a Heart Easel. It's been a long time since I made one of these. Though this is a mini one, using one of the MINI Tildas.

Papers are Prima 'Moulin Rouge' Available from The Stampman. I have also used Gilding flakes for the Love text. I WILL bring you a tutorial for this!!(promise)

OOOOOoooo Prima Papers

Hiya

Ive actually managed to drag myself into my craftroom tonight!! I think my mojo has been missing for the last few days. Until today that is!!! The Stampman had a delivery today of some NEW gorgeous PRIMA  6 x 6 paper packs and I want them ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did treat myself to two of them and I'm sure I'll be back for more soon. They are just lush and trying to pick one out was just impossible.

The one I have used on the card below is 'Moulin Rouge'. I love all 48 sheets!! I had already painted this Tilda a while back and she was perfect for these papers.
