Deep Ocean Challenge

I hope you are all enjoying this glorious sunshine we are having in the UK at the moment! I just hope it isnt our summer!!!
There's a new challenge over at Deep Ocean and the challenge is masking or use more than one stamp(sentiments not included)
Ive used Magnolia 'Welcome to a lovely home' and 'Tilda hlding egg basket' painted with Distress inks.
Paper is Pion Design 6x6

Magnolia Mini World
Hiya
Just a quickie today to share a card Ive made with Magnolia Mini World. I love the mini's and have found them so hard to find in the UK, but Sir Stampalot are now stocking a good selection.
For my card, I have used Romantic Window and Tilda with Big Ribbon.
You can tell how big the card is up to Tilda's tag. It's quite tricky to paint, but theraputic at the same time.
The Romantic Window always reminds me of France, so I added one of my Eiffel Tower Charms xx

Today is a new challenge over at TOMIC and this week we want you to use the picture below as inspiration for Spring and to make a card 8cm x18cm.
I used Tim's Sizzix die Tag for this,it was perfect. it measured 8cm x16cm so the rosette trim at the bottom made it up to 18cm!!Perfect!
I used Tilda catching Stars from the new Prince and Princess Collection, painted with Distress Inks.

Happily Ever After
Good Morning everyone:)
Today to share is a Wedding Snap I made for Magnolia. I also made a matching Keepsake Box, which is on page 10 of the latest edition of Magnolia Ink.
I wanted an aged ,'Shabby chic' look, so it looked like an old photograph but not sepia.
I wanted an aged ,'Shabby chic' look, so it looked like an old photograph but not sepia.
The frame was just plain wood which I painted white and stained slightly with Walnut Ink Distress Ink. Once dried I covered with crackle glaze and painted again with white acrylic paint. As the paint dries you can see all the little cracks appear.
The picure I painted with Black Soot Distress Ink and then gave it a good coating of USArtquest Perfect Paper adhesive matt, to give it that extra feel and flexibility of a photograph. (Love this stuff)!
Flowers are a mixure of Prima and WOC.

There's a new challenge just beginning at DOC and this weeks challenge is Butterflies!!
I thought I would make another Butterfly Easel (Havent made one of these for aaggeeessss!!)
I have already made a TUTORIAL HERE for this shape card!(OMG Can you believe its 2 years ago when I did this!!!)
The Magnolia ive used is Beautiful Tilda from Butterfly Dreams Collection 2011 painted with Distress Inks
Papers are Pion Design. I certainly have no shortage of butterfly Dies!!Lol.
Most Ive used are Tims and there's a Cuttlebug one in there too with dry embossing on the wings:)
other Die is Magnolia Doo-Hickey Swirl.

Ive used Viking Tilda from the new Prince and Princess Collection 2012. She was a must have for me as it wasnt long ago we visited the Viking Centre in Denmark.

Looky! Looky! what turned up yesterday !! My new stamps :D
and i was itching to paint them. Which one do I paint first was my problem though?
So I decided on one I hadnt seen finished before (but I think Ive been beaten to it!) LOL
Ive used Tilda in Bath Cap and Bath Tub from the new Prince and Princess Collection. Im afraid its another fabulous collection., so not good on the purse strings! hee hee
I have highlighted the bubbles in USArtQuest Perfect Paper Adhesive Gloss and a little Diamond Glitter Glue
For the Tag I have used Doo-Hickey so Wrapped Heart
And lots of white paint
