Mini Magnolia's

 Hello
I haven't really done anything with the mini Magnolias that were in our members club kit. To be honest I'd forgotton about them, until last night, when I found them buried under all the others!!LOL
They are great for little thankyou cards and tags. Here,Ive made a Christmas Tag.
Here's the mini compared to the original size. Soo oo tiny!
This was the other I used a few weeks back on my Tea-Light card.

The Midas Touch!!

Hi All
Here I am again with another Tilda card for a couple more Challenges.
I was let loose with one of my first introductions into the crafting world on this card! A HEATGUN!! I haven't used it for ages and I got a little carried away!!LOL. Years ago, I always edged my card with Gold Embossing powder. I used loads of the stuff!! So I got back to basics with this card. I even edged the roses with it too!!

For the tag I used Gold Leafing for the Merry Christmas Text. At last ive purchased something that works. Ive always struggled with Gold Leafing, as all the glues Ive tried haven't worked and believe me Ive tried them all, from glue pads to Stamp 'n' Bond!!:(  Until now!!! :)))
And what's more, the funny thing is, it's been under my nose for the past 8 years!! What I'm waffling on about is the Perfect Paper Duo Adhesive by Artquest. It wasnt until a couple of weeks ago, I went on a US Artquest workshop with Jill and we used it. Fantastic stuff or what!! I've got the 'Midas' bug now!! LOL
Tilda is painted with Distress inks and Ive also gone over with a Gold Stardust pen, so she is very glittery

Not a Christmas Card!!!!

Hi All
I thought I'd have a go at a few more challenges. One being over on Just Magnolia and the other which is a new Magnolia Challenge Blog called Magnolia-licious and Crafty Card Makers
I started this card about 2 months ago but it got shelved!!!LOL I think Ive got too much on the go and not enough time. Anyway out came the papers when I got home and set to work!
It's not an Easel even though it might look like one. More like a 3D card!!
Here's a pic of the side view.
I used Tilda, Tim's sizzix die 'Baroque' and papers were by Prima
Ok now for the Challenges

Have a great weekend whatever your doing!

A Christmas Hanger

 Evening Everybody.
Ive been bored tonight and I couldn't motivate myself into doing something I was supposed to do!!!(So that's on the back burner!!)LOL...for now!
Anyways, hubby's watching the football, so I went off and made this. Having a couple of challenges in mind (well 6!) it started off as a card, then I got carried away with the charms etc and it turned into a hanger! Oh well!!
Tilda was all ready painted from the weekend, as I couldn't decide which of them to use (SEE LAST POST) for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge at the weekend. So there's two the same in a row!!lol
Her wings have been sprayed with Glitz Spritz for the glittery effect and Glitter glue in the heart and wings, but it was tough to photograph.
 Here's a close up
For the leave of the flowers I etched with Encore Silver Pigment Ink
Ok The challenges I'm entering are

Stampman Challenge-Anything goes Christmas

Hello
It's another new challenge over on the THE STAMPMAN CHALLENGE BLOG and this week it's 'Christmas- Anything Goes'
I thought I'd do a Christmas Decoration similar to the one I have done in December's issue of Craft Stamper. This time I have used another of Tim's stamps 'Reindeer Flight'.
My hubby is holding this for me as I needed light for the snowflakes to show through and would he stay still!!!!LOL His arm kept quivering!!

I cut out the shrink plastic with Nesties Label 16. I then masked a moon with a paper circle and inked around with blue pigment ink, stamped the trees with Coffee Archival and the snowflakes with White Brilliance pigment ink, THEN shrunk.
Also don't forget to makes two small holes at the top and bottom for the ribbon and charms.!!(which I did the first time!!!)LOL

and here's a little sneaaky peak of the New issue out NOW

Also there's a little extra HERE
Don't for get to have a look ove at The Stampman Challenge Blog and check out the rest of my teamies fab creations

Thanks for looking and have a fab weekend.
