I Do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

......Wish I had more notice to make this card!lol
Yesterday Helen at work asked me to do a Wedding card for TOMORROW!!! Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!
She really was putting her trust in me!! PRESSURE!! I can't work under pressure!!!!
Anyway, as I didnt have much time to design anything AND didn't have much in the way of wedding stamps, I did panic a little. But oh yes! Tracey's NEW stamp sheet to the rescue 'Alluring Ladies'!PHEW (Im sure glad I have this sheet)!!You can get it HERE
Then I remembered I made THIS Easel card back in February, which would be ideal for a Wedding card. I stamped the image with Archival ink, then stamped again using Brilliance Moonlight White and used Moonglow Pearls Embossing powder to give a lovely pearlised effect.Added pearls to give a wedding gown look and a paper flower edged in Brilliance Galaxy Gold.

The swirly stamp to the left is my absolute favourite stamp of the moment and is used on everything and a must have. It's a Hero stamp 'Bold Flourish' HERE .

Nesties and cuttlebug as usual have been used!!(Do I ever not)!!lol

I'm so worried she won't like it.I hope it will be ok. I really don't like making cards for other people!!I know she will insist on giving me something, but I absolutely will not take anything BUT I might put all my afternoons ironing in the back of my car for her to do which i didnt get done!!!hee hee(aren't I nice)!!!lol

A Cupcake side step Card

Hi There
Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely weather we are having at the moment.I hope its the start of a nice summer!! But then again this is England!!!!
I haven't had much crafting time recently, but I did manage to squeeze this in yesterday. It was a stamp I just had to have, as we have lots of bakers in our family and it is something I loved doing as a child . Cupcakes/buns was always a firm favourite.

I had a go at the side step card and it was very easy(well after the 2nd attempt)!
As usual I used my nesties and the basic grey papers. I painted Tilda with Distress inks.I must say im becoming very addicted to painting with these. Its quite tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it does get easier. The main thing is to have a good quality watercolour paper.

The petals of the flower I used a Heroarts set.

Thankyou and a few Challenges.

Well I thought I would have a go at a few more Challenges while on hols this week. Thought Id better make the most of it, as now summer approaches I'll be closing my Craftroom door!!So I thought I would make this card for everyone who leaves me lovely comments and takes time to look at my blog. So a big thankyou to you all.
I have used some Gorgeous Basic Grey papers, which Im just going to have to buy more of, called Kioshi. So beautiful
A Tilda stamp which I have had for ages but never used and of course my nesties.

I dont know why I did a card on a card!! Just thought it looked different!!!lol

I have painted Tilda with distress inks Bundled Sage, wellies in Forest Green and her umbrella in Victorian Velvet

I punched the flowers, scrumpled up and inked with Victorian Velvet.

An Alluring lady Tent Card

Hi All
Hope you have had a fab Easter and not eaten too much choccy!!
Well I thought I would have a go at one of the new Tent Cards which I see quite alot of now.Ive used my new distress colours Bundled Sage and Forest Green for the background papers and stamped the edges with my favourite stamp of the moment Heroarts Bold Flourish.

The flowers are made with cream paper then distressed with forest green.

The Lovely lady stamp was from the New Aspects of Design sheet 'Alluring Ladies.'The more I use this sheet the more I love it .

I punched the centre out with my Nesties Blossom die then used the spots and dots folder for embossing and edged with distress ink Forest Green.

I dont know if you can make out the inside, but I also stamped with the Bold florish stamp.

I'm Watching you!!

Ive at last managed to get this card finished. I painted the eyes last week, when Jill gave me the sheet, as I was itching to see how they worked with distress inks.
I stamped the image onto water colour paper with Brilliance Graphite black and embossed with clear ep.Then I painted with Distress ink Tattered Rose. For her eye colour I used a little brushed Corduroy ,then when dry added a little glossy accents. For her eye shadow I used Bundled Sage. The lips were stamped using Victorian Velvet. Ive distressed the edges slightly using brushed corduroy.

Really this image doesn't need embellishments, but me being me just had to squeeze one in somewhere!!So it just looks as though she has a flower in her hair!
All the stamps used where from Aspects of Design Alluring Ladies from The Stampman
I am entering this into
Hope you all have a fab Easter and Thanks again for all your lovely comments.
